My mind jogs through memory lane
Going through dusty but sweet memories
I didn't expect so much pain
Releasing all my hidden agonizing cries
For all the things I have lost along the way
I had never felt my heart sway
Like this,pining for past temptation
My innocence needs restoration
I need to give up all expectation
For I need to leave the inhabitation
Of sweet times gone by
And live in the present, put on standby
So that I can make new memories
To be looked on from my future
Filled with many surprises and inevitabilities
Reflecting with all honesty, my nature
The real me...
As with all my posts this is a poem of self exploration coz i've believed that before knowing the world you one should know the self....
